ABOUT LINDSAY HICKS

Lindsay (she/her) is a flutist from Sydney, now based in Melbourne. She first moved to Melbourne in 2016 to study a Bachelor of Music with Margaret Crawford as her teacher. In 2025, Lindsay completed the first year of a Master of Music in Orchestral Performance under the tutelage of Lisa-Maree Amos. In the past year she has performed with the University of Melbourne Symphony Orchestra, the chamber orchestra for Melbourne Conservatorium of Music’s production of Cendrillon, and has taken part in special projects with the Australian String Quartet, musicians of the Melbourne Symphony Orchestra and Orchestra Victoria. She was also a finalist in the 2025 Australian Flute Festival Piccolo Competition. As well as solo and orchestral playing, Lindsay has a soft spot for chamber music and loves collaborating with friends and artists to share stories with audiences. She also enjoys working with living composers, and has recently recorded works by Melbourne-based composers Stuart Greenbaum and Robert McIntyre.

ABOUT LAURA ABRAHAM

Laura (she/her) has been playing the piano for most of her life and holds a Bachelor of Music (Honours) in Composition with First Class Honours from the Melbourne Conservatorium of Music, supervised by Professor Stuart Greenbaum. Throughout her time there she received a number of awards for excellence in composition, including the Dr Allan Zavod Composition Award (2020), Orloff Family Charitable Trust Scholarship (2019), Esther Rofe Award (2019; 2018), Wright Prize in Instrumental Music (2018), Ormond Exhibition in Music (2018) and the Eric and Linda Jullyan Memorial Scholarship (2018). Since then, Laura has completed further study in psychology and will undertake postgraduate training in Clinical Neuropsychology in 2026. Drawing from both music and psychology, Laura is interested in the ways that music can transcend language to evoke ideas and nuanced emotions that lie beyond words. ABOUT MOLLY JENKINS

Molly (she/her) is a flautist, educator and arts administrator whose overarching passion lies in the ever-increasing use of music as a tool for both maintaining and healing mental health and wellbeing. Molly grew up on Latje Latje Country in Mildura where she was the three-time winner of the La Trobe University and Arts Mildura Woodwind Scholarship. She is now based on Wurundjeri Land in Melbourne’s North, where she completed her Bachelor of Music (with Honours) at the University of Melbourne under Derek Jones, Thomas Pinschof and Josh Batty. A passionate chamber musician and advocate for new music, Molly’s collaborations have found her performing at venues across Melbourne and regional Victoria. Since June 2023, Molly has held the role of Victorian Education Coordinator at Musica Viva and has recently expanded her work with the organisation as a Teaching Artist for their Music Education Residency Program.
